The Bruins Are Destroying Everyone In Their Way.
Bruins Rangers

It’s easy to forget in the midst of all this Super Bowl depression that the Bruins are on fire.

Seriously, if you are in the Bruins’ way… You should do yourself a favor and get the hell out of it before they bowl you over.

Top Shelf Stuff

The Bruins are 18-1-4 in their last 23 games… That is not a typo. They blew the doors off the Rangers last night 6-1 in Madison Square Garden. Sure, the Rangers STINK and they were missing 5 guys from their lineup… but beating Henrik multiple times before he was pulled is damn impressive.

Tuukka Rask is back to being an elite goaltender which if you’ve read our stuff before on Rask we’re surprised at how well he’s bounced back. Rask has always had the tendency to be fragile, and he is standing tall right now.

Even when Rask isn’t between the pipes, Anton Khudobin is lights out on a nightly basis. Last night was incredible to watch. He took on four straight shots from the Rangers without a stick and saved ’em all before he could gather himself stick in hand.

There there’s this…

FILTHY. That’s a fourth line guy dangling all over the city of New York. My goodness.

Pick Me Up

I said it before and I will say it again. The Bruins and the Celtics are going to get us over the Super Bowl loss. Sean wrote weeks ago about how the Bruins were sneaky the best thing going on in this city right now, and he nailed it.

This team is appointment television whenever they are on because they just play hard. They do not skip over the little things like fighting for loose pucks and battling in the corners.

They’re a likable team that’s balanced from top to bottom. It also helps when you have one of the best lines in hockey with Marchand-Bergeron-Pastrnak.

Before this season even started we all wondered if this youth movement of the Bruins would be able to propel them back into the playoffs…

Now we’re onto wondering how many rounds we’ll have home ice. I’m starting to feel better already.
